PROGDSC
DSC Flash/EEPROM Programmer Software

PROGDSC software allows the user to program/reprogram external flash devices in-circuit via P&E's BDM interface Hardware (sold separately). The programmer talks to the processor through the DSC-compatible hardware interface which connects the parallel port or USB port of a PC to a standard debug connector on the target system.

It allows users to place protection on their programming images to restrict image use by date range or number of programs allowed. It also allows users to create RSA/AES encrypted programming images that use their own uniquely generated ImageKey. These images may only be used to program targets on Cyclones that are pre-configured with this unique ImageKey. This license keeps the user securely in control of both their IP and the programming process.

Adding one or more SD cards to your programming setup can give you added flexibility, while encryption helps keep your IP safe. An SD card can easily be moved from Cyclone to Cyclone. Our 32GB Encryptyed Cyclone SDHC Card is pre-formatted, tested, and certified to work with CYCLONE FX programmers. The SDHC port features are not available on Cyclone LC.

P&E DSC Interface (ParallelPort, 3.3V)

• The Cyclone MAX programmer has been discontinued. PEmicro's current generation CYCLONE and CYCLONE FX programmers are the official replacement parts. Within each type there are two models of Cyclone, one that supports ARM devices, and one that supports ARM devices plus many NXP 8/16/32 bit architectures.

C/C++ and Delphi library modules which allow the creation of custom PC applications which use P&E hardware interfaces to control DSC devices via debug mode.
